Intro To Circus
Intro to Circus is a 5 week whirlwind tour of everything Triangle Circus Arts has to offer.
Aerial Fabric classes are for students with previous aerial fabric experience or students who have completed the Introduction to Aerials curriculum. Prerequisites and class description coming soon.
Learn to juggle! In this class you’ll learn to juggle, balance, and manipulate a variety of props
Bend and Split
Come and make safe progress on your splits, backbends, and open shoulders.
Students will learn safe, sustainable, and effective exercises to increase the body’s natural range of motion without compromising strength or function. Students will learn and participate in active, passive, assisted, and partner stretching and strengthening techniques. We will work on bringing balance to the body by freeing up fascial and neuromuscular barriers, and we will build muscle strength for flexibility that can be used. This class is accessible to all desiring to increase safe ranges of motion in their body.
In partner acrobatics we learn to create dynamic poses with other people. You can be on either side of a lift, balance, or throw in this exciting discipline.
Static trapeze classes are for students with previous trapeze experience or students who have completed the Introduction to Aerials curriculum. Prerequisites and class description coming soon.
In handbalancing class you will learn to hold a free handstand, walk on your hands, and balance in different shapes.
Ground and apparatus based conditioning, incorporating strength and flexibility boosting drills and injury prevention/rehab exercises to keep athletes in peak form. This class is designed for aerialists.
Learn to make beautiful shapes connected by smooth transitions inside a suspended metal hoop. This class will help develop strength, grace, and flexibility.
Ballet Body will strengthen, streamline, and invigorate your whole body with exercises that target your body in the same way as ballet dancers. This is not a ballet class, no prior dance experience is required. The movements incorporate isometrics, core strength, and active flexibility – all while focusing on alignment, posture and form. You will leave this challenging class feeling taller, stronger, more graceful and confident! This class is great for those new to strength training – exercises will help you gain coordination, balance and body awareness.
Intro To Aerials
Introduction to aerials is a class that teaches beginner level trapeze and aerial fabric skills and terminology. This class is a prerequisite for higher level Aerial Fabric and Static Trapeze classes.
Tumbling class will teach students to roll, cartwheel, flip, and dive. Circus tumbling is related to cheer or gymnastics tumbling, but includes activities such as hoop diving and partner assisted tumbling maneuvers. Appropriate mats and spotting allow students to progress safely.
